I'm Paige Albrecht.
I’m working hard to make Lehi the kind of community we can all live in and enjoy with our children and grandchildren for many years to come!
I love the people of Lehi. By electing me again, I will continue to work for you and your interests.
I’ve lived in Lehi since 2002, which means I’ve been here longer than 2/3 of our current residents. Crazy! I was born an Army brat in Honolulu, and since then I’ve lived all over the country. I’ve experienced everything from the bustling metropolitan of Washington DC, to the small town feel of Helena, Montana. In fact, I’ve now lived in Lehi three times as long as anywhere else in my entire life! It has become my hometown. I love it, and I love raising my children here.
I have three sons. Aaron is 20 and currently pursuing his dream of becoming a firefighter. Alex just finished three amazing years in HS and is moving on to ATEC, Alpine's post-high program for special needs kids. James is 15 years old and will be a sophomore at Lehi High School this fall. I also have a very old dog named Checkers and a very young cat named Winston—both girls.
All five are very supportive of my role on City Council (although Aaron wishes I’d let him mouth off more on social media).
When I’m not doing City Council stuff, I teach Special Education for severely disabled high school kids at Alpine School District's Horizon School in Saratoga. I've been there almost two years and I have students in 9th-12th grades. Since my own son Alex has hydrocephalus and cerebral palsy, it’s a great fit. I love my students, and I’m able to be home when my kids are.
During our time in Lehi, we've played Goldilocks and lived in three different areas. Our first house, by Allred Park, was an awesome starter home. But as the boys grew closer to six feet tall (!) it eventually became TOO SMALL.
Our next house, just off Pioneer and Center, was on half an acre and eventually it was just TOO BIG.
Then a year ago, a longtime dream came true when I bought a little historic home in Old Town Lehi. I can walk to the Library, Wines Park, and the Legacy Center. Also the Lehi Bakery. Very important.(#squaredonutsforever) Our house only has one bathroom and the yard needs a ton of work, but it’s JUST RIGHT. I love living in Lehi. I plan to be here for the rest of my life, so I’m working hard to make this the kind of community we can all enjoy with our children and grandchildren for many years to come.
